Who we are

Seaside Roofing Solutions is a family-owned, boutique roofing company serving Destin, Walton County, and the surrounding Florida Panhandle.

We built Seaside to offer homeowners a more personal and straightforward roofing experience. As a small local company, we remain closely involved in every project—from the initial inspection through the final walkthrough.

Whether your roof needs an honest repair or a complete replacement, we photograph what we find, clearly explain your options, and recommend what we would do for our own home. Our goal is not simply to complete your next roofing project—it is to earn the opportunity to remain your roofer for years to come.

What we do

Multiple services, one standard.

Repair, replacement, storm work and inspections, in the materials

that stand up to salt air and wind.

01 Metal Roofing

Standing seam, corrugated and Worthouse modular panels built for the coast.

02 Shingle Roofing

Architectural and designer systems installed as an Atlas PRO+ Platinum contractor.

03 Tile and Specialty

Clay, concrete barrel, Brava synthetic tile and shake, and copper.

04 Residential Roofing

The starting point if you are not yet sure what your roof needs.

05 Roof Repair

Targeted repairs that extend the life of a roof instead of replacing it.

06 Storm Damage

Emergency tarping, damage

documentation and adjuster coordination.

07 Roof Inspection

A free photo report you can send to your insurer.

Built on integrity

Four things that do not change.

Whether the job is a pipe boot or a full replacement, these hold.

01
We live here too
This is home. We know what salt air, sun and hurricane season do to a roof because we deal with it on our own houses. Our office is right here on 30A.
02
Insurance documentation
If there's real storm damage, we'll document it the way adjusters need to see it and walk through the claim with you. If there isn't, we'll tell you that too. We're not going to stretch it to get you a new roof.
03
Repair before replace
We'd rather fix the actual problem than sell you a roof you don't need. Sometimes that means a repair, sometimes a little maintenance, and sometimes nothing at all. If the roof can be saved, we'll save it.
04
Materials we trust
When it is time for a new roof, we install complete manufacturer systems we've watched hold up on this coast, so your warranty actually means something.

Built on integrity

The right fix isn't always a new roof.

We don't show up looking for the most expensive thing to sell you. We look at every roof the same way: what's actually going on, and what's the right fix? Sometimes that's a replacement. A lot of the time it's a repair. And sometimes the honest answer is that your roof is fine and you don't need us yet.

We're often the second opinion after someone else quoted a full reroof. When a roof really is done, we'll tell you straight and show you the photos that got us there. Either way, you see what we saw before you spend a dime.

"If your roof doesn't need anything, I'll tell you that."

Meet the owner

Conner Hightower

Before starting Seaside Roofing Solutions, Conner was a partner at a larger roofing company, running commercial and high end residential projects along the Gulf Coast.

That work taught him how roofs are meant to be detailed: the flashing, the

underlayment, the fastener schedules that keep water out when the wind comes sideways. It also showed him how often homeowners were sold more than they needed.

He started this company to bring the same standard of work to his own

neighbors, with a simpler promise. Look properly, explain clearly, and only do what the roof needs.

Materials

What lasts on this coast.

Service life depends on the product, the exposure and the maintenance, so we describe it in general terms rather than fixed figures. We will talk through the specifics for your house at the estimate.

Material
Best suited to
Typical service life
What to consider
Standing seam metal
Beachfront and high exposure sites, modern and coastal cottage architecture
Among the longest lived options we install
Highest upfront cost. Choose aluminum or a salt rated coated steel near the water. Concealed fasteners remove the leak points of exposed screw panels.
Architectural shingle
Most neighborhood homes, budget conscious reroofs, HOA color matching
Shortest of the options here, and shorter again close to the Gulf
Lowest cost, quickest install, and eligible for Seaside's 10–Year Labor & Watertight Warranty on qualifying projects.
Clay and concrete tile
Mediterranean and Spanish style homes with framing built for the load
Very long lived, though the underlayment beneath it is the limiting factor
Heavy, so the structure must be checked. Individual tiles crack under foot traffic and debris, but they are replaceable one at a time.
Brava synthetic
The look of slate or cedar shake without the weight, coastal modern homes
Long lived and impact resistant
Lighter than tile and priced between shingle and clay. Product quality varies by brand, so we fit systems we have seen age on this coast.
Copper and specialty
Bay windows, entries, dormers and feature roofs
The longest lived material on this list
The most expensive by area, so usually reserved for accents. Develops a patina and needs a roofer who can solder a seam properly.

How it works

Eight steps, no surprises.

The same order on every job.

01
Inspection
We walk the roof and the attic and photograph every finding.
02
Consultation and contract
Options explained, one fixed written scope and price.
03
Material delivery
Scheduled with you, staged where it will not damage anything.
04
Site protection
Drives boarded, landscaping and pool decks covered before we start.
05
Tear off
Old covering stripped and the decking underneath inspected.
06
Install
Underlayment, flashing and the new covering, detailed to specification.
07
Final walkthrough
We walk it with you, magnet sweep for nails, final photographs.
08
Warranty
Paperwork handed over and the roof registered with the manufacturer.
